The Connect Foundation was founded by Dion Cross in 2020. The foundation was established to service youth and women with special emphasis on single mothers, and widows in Africa. The mission of the Connect Foundation is to service the youth through academic and athletic initiatives, and assist women by providing housing, and through job creation that provides sustainable income. The Connect Foundation strives to bridge the development gap between high income and low income by providing opportunities, training, exposure, and skill development for women and children.
Women of Worth (W.O.W)
Make a Difference
The Women of Worth program assists widows and single mothers. This program provides services to help empower women by creating and providing sustainable jobs for women to help support their family structure. The Women of Worth Program provides financial assistance to widows and single mothers to help stabilize the family structure and assist to provide, through job creation, the revenue needed to be able to sustain the family structure.

Workforce Readiness
The Connect Foundation provides trainings for widowed and single women. The goal of the Workforce Readiness Program is to provide adequate qualities of trained, reliable workers throughout Africa.
Community Building
The Connect Foundation strives to build stronger communities by empowering people to serve the community where they reside. Community building builds relationships and fosters systems of change. The Connect Foundation nurtures connections amongst people and creates infrastructures for these connections to exist by creating and fostering strong businesses within these communities.
